Woman sentenced to up to eight years for manslaughter

Milena Bogojevska has been sentenced to a maximum of eight years in jail for the manslaughter of 85-year-old Lolene Whitehand. Whitehand’s body was found partially wrapped in plastic in the Maribyrnong River at Flemington in July 2024, and Bogojevska had pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
