Attorney says body cam shows federal agent was unjustified

Jonah Neal’s family attorney, Andre Wharton, says body camera footage reviewed by the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office casts doubt that Neal posed an imminent threat when a Homeland Security Investigations agent shot him inside his Memphis home. Wharton said the video was filmed from a second agent’s perspective and that Neal’s mother can be heard saying he was experiencing a mental crisis and needed help.
