Kingston man arrested after police shooting standoff

A 41-year-old Kingston man was arrested after firing a shot at police and a late-night standoff at an apartment complex, according to the Kingston Police Department. Officers responded to a “shots heard” call on N. Third Street around 10:10 p.m. Aug. 22 and located an erratically driven orange vehicle before the confrontation ended with his arrest.
