Summary: TDOT began emergency repair work today on a growing sinkhole and ground slide system adjacent to State Route 1 in White County, just east of Crickett and Thacker Road. The slide has expanded into the median and reached the shoulders of the left lanes in both directions, prompting continuous lane closures.
