Colombia’s far-right president Abelardo de la Espriella announced a crackdown on immigrants, directing authorities to detain and deport people in the country irregularly or who have committed crimes. He said operations to “track down illegal immigrants” should begin this week as the country continues dealing with the earthquake aftermath.
