Summary: Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-784, traveling from Toronto to Karachi, returned to Toronto after a fire alarm warning was received in the aircraft’s cargo area. The captain contacted air traffic control, requested an emergency landing, and after receiving permission the plane landed. PIA engineers inspected the aircraft and the fire brigade checked the cargo hold; all 130 passengers were moved to the lounge.
