$70K Pabst Blue Ribbon beer stolen in cargo heist
By The BriefBrief
Montclair police say two separate thefts from an Anheuser-Busch distribution center netted about $70,000 in Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. One shipment worth about $45,000 meant for Arizona never arrived, and a second about $25,000 was taken after fake subcontracting documents were used to arrange pickup. Detectives are looking for links between the incidents.
WHO: Montclair Police Department; person or group responsible for the thefts
WHAT: Two cargo thefts involving Pabst Blue Ribbon beer shipments totaling about $70,000
WHEN: Reported Aug 30, 2026 at 4:04 AM ET
WHERE: Montclair, CA
WHY: Police said the second pickup was arranged using fake subcontracting company documents, and similarities between the heists suggest they may be part of the same operation.
