Three people were injured in a shooting in Long Beach early today, prompting a police pursuit that continued to downtown Los Angeles. Long Beach police said officers responded to a targeted shooting around 12:24 a.m. in the 200 block of Aquarium Way; two victims were taken to the hospital and another was treated at the scene. Police said the suspect fired at officers and an officer-involved shooting occurred while the driver was pursued on the northbound 710 Freeway.
