Nepalese hydropower worker Pemba Dundu Tamang told the BBC that water from the Trishuli River smashed into a tunnel during flash floods last week. He said a sudden gust dislodged machinery and plywood, and he ran toward the tunnel entrance while water chased him for about 20 minutes.
