Summary: The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office said a reported shooting at Westwood Hills Elementary School in Waynesboro, Virginia, was contained. Waynesboro Public Schools said all students, teachers, and staff were accounted for and safe, and that students and families were being reunited at a designated location. As a precaution, other Waynesboro schools were placed on lockdown while authorities investigated.
