JI warns of nationwide wheel-jam strike over relief

Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman warned it will launch a nationwide wheel-jam strike if the government delays approving public demands for economic relief. The warning follows a countrywide protest two days earlier in which six party workers were arrested in Karachi over alleged burning of motorcycles and tyres.
