Iran’s Supreme National Security Council secretary Mohsen Rezaei said Iran tested a new anti-ship missile above a US Navy vessel for the first time, in remarks carried by Fars News. He claimed US vessels fled the area. Earlier, Iran’s IRGC Aerospace Force said it fired ballistic missiles at a US aircraft carrier and a destroyer, which US Central Command said were attacked by hostile missiles and defeated without damage.
