Summary: The U.S. Coast Guard Southwest District said a crew aboard the Cutter Narwhal intercepted a 28-foot cuddy cabin boat carrying 24 suspected immigrants attempting to enter the U.S. The vessel was found about 40 miles offshore of Los Angeles on Sept. 6, roughly three miles south of Santa Barbara Island.
