Three Nepalese arrested over killing of Nepalese student in Fukuoka

Police arrested three Nepalese nationals on Sept 8 over the killing of Nepalese vocational school student Laxmi Rajbanshi, found dead in a river in Fukuoka’s Tenjin district in August. Police said Rajbanshi was hit with a pot, strangled with a rope, and fell from a third-floor balcony into the Naka River, where she drowned.
