Summary: Nearly 100 biologists from 28 partner organizations surveyed 123 sites across 10 watersheds in the Upper Cumberland River Basin during TWRA’s second annual Benthic Blitz. Led by Brittany Bajo-Walker and Parker Hildreth, the effort targeted bottom-dwelling mussels, crayfish, snails, and fish to expand data on rare species.
