Summary: Researchers with the Road Ecology Project, run by the Ingwe Research Programme, are studying how leopards and other animals move along the R40 near Hoedspruit by using culverts and tunnels under the road. Africa Geographic’s documentary “Spots on the Line” follows camera and dog-assisted research to understand why animals choose some under-road openings over crossing the asphalt.
