Summary: Oman's Maritime Security Center said the Panama-flagged oil tanker EL GAIA was towed to an Omani port after a fire broke out in its engine room following an attack in the Strait of Hormuz. The Omani navy evacuated 23 crew members, while two remain missing. CENTCOM denied an IRGC claim that the fire followed a mine collision, saying the ship was struck by an Iranian missile last month and again by an Iranian drone.
