Summary: Britain, the United States and the Netherlands issued a joint cybersecurity advisory describing spyware they say is used by Iranian state-linked actors to target dissidents, activists and journalists. The UK’s National Cyber Security Centre said the spyware family “CHOSEN BRICK” was used via spear-phishing on messaging platforms including WhatsApp and Telegram to steal emails, messages and other sensitive information.
