Brooklyn fire kills six and injures seven

A three-alarm fire broke out at a two-story home on 58th Street in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park, killing six people and injuring seven, including three firefighters. Four adults died at the scene, while a man and a woman died while being taken to a hospital; another victim was in critical condition. The New York City Fire Department said the fire was reported at about 1:40 a.m. and that flames were on every floor and coming through windows when crews arrived. More than 230 fire and emergency medical personnel responded.
