Summary: Taiwan’s coastguard fired a home-grown Hsiung Feng III (HF-3) supersonic anti-ship missile during a military exercise last week. The Anping-class patrol vessel Qijin launched the HF-3 at a decommissioned navy frigate more than 100 km away, and also fired an HF-2 subsonic anti-ship missile.
