Govt cuts petrol and HSD prices for Sept 30

Summary: The government reduced petrol by Rs1.49 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs2.73 per litre. After the revision, petrol will retail at Rs387.54 per litre and HSD at Rs402.24 per litre, with taxes and duties of Rs114 per litre on petrol and Rs100 per litre on diesel. The Petroleum Division notification says the new prices apply for Sept 30.
