YF-12 downs QB-47 drone in 1966 test

A Lockheed YF-12A intercepted a QB-47 target drone over the Eglin test range on September 21, 1966, using its Hughes AN/ASG-18 radar to track the drone more than 100 miles away before an AIM-47 Falcon hit it from about 53 miles.
