CRS counts 81 US aircraft lost or damaged
By The BriefBrief · Sources (2)
A Congressional Research Service analysis says at least 81 U.S. military aircraft have been lost or damaged in the Iran war, nearly double the 42 identified in May. The report cautions that the increase partly reflects newly public information, not necessarily losses since the earlier tally, and says replacing some aircraft could strain forces needed elsewhere.
