Air Force runs two F-47 test phases in parallel
By The BriefBrief · Sources (1)
The Air Force Test Center at Edwards is conducting developmental and operational testing of Boeing’s F-47 stealth fighter simultaneously. It is using real test data to refine digital models of fluid dynamics, structural loads and high-angle-of-attack flight, aiming to shorten the path from the planned 2028 first flight to full deployment. The approach was first tried on the F-15EX, which reached initial operational capability in 2024.
