CRS estimates up to 81 US aircraft lost or damaged

A Congressional Research Service report estimates that as many as 81 U.S. military aircraft and drones were destroyed or damaged in the conflict with Iran from Feb. 28 through mid-September. Citing a Congressional Budget Office report, CRS puts the cost at $1.9 billion to $3.3 billion; MQ-9 Reapers accounted for 45 aircraft.
